The third core game of the Kingdom Hearts series and potentially one of the most awaited games of the decade finally has a release date!

Kingdom Hearts III is releasing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019 worldwide!

It will release slightly earlier in Japan, on January 25, 2019!

This was recently announced on Twitter, as well as in an all-English trailer shown at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- stop at Los Angeles.

Along with this tweet, series director Tetsuya Nomura left fans a note:

Despite the slight delay in the game’s release date (I blame 80% of the fandom who joked about delays and made their dreams from fantasy to reality), Nomura assured us that we would receive more information at E3 2018, as well as a few trailers!

If this means that the Orchestra trailer in different languages/for different countries, or brand new trailers altogether, we’re not quite sure.

But for now, we will be steering clear of any spoilers from the recent footage shown by the lucky attendees of the Los Angeles concert!
